| In today’s lesson, we’ll help you check in! In Vietnam, there are various types of accommodations such as hotels, hostels, and guesthouses. Today’s phrase is "Check-in, please." |
| In Vietnamese "Check-in, please" is Tôi muốn nhận phòng. |
| Tôi muốn nhận phòng. |
| Let’s break this down by syllable: Tôi muốn nhận phòng. |
| Now, let’s hear it again, Tôi muốn nhận phòng. |
| The first word, tôi, means "I," "me," or "myself" and is flat. |
| This is followed by muốn. Muốn is the rising tone and is Vietnamese for "to want." |

| So, to recap here, we have tôi muốn. Literally, this means "I want" or "I want to." |
| Let’s take a look at the next word, nhận. |

| Nhận means "to receive" and is the low tone, nhận. |

| So to recap here, we have nhận phòng, which literally means “to receive a room” or “to check-in.” |

| Once again, Xin cho biết tên. |
| The first word, xin, we know means "please" and is used to increase the politeness of an expression, xin. |

| Most people will understand you mainly because it’s a common word in many hotels, hostels, guest houses, especially those related to foreign tourists in Vietnam. |
